What Todd Boehly did to Potter after Chelsea qualified for Champions League quarter-finals
Chelsea owner Todd Boehly after the club’s win over German club Borussia win in the Champions League at Stamford Bride met manager Graham Potter in the runner.
Recall that Chelsea came into the second leg of the last-16 clash trailing 1-0.
Before the second leg, there had been much discussions focused on how Potter could lose his job at Stamford Bridge if Chelsea were eliminated from the competition.
However, two goals from Raheem Sterling and Kai Havertz were enough to save Chelsea and earn them a spot in the Champions League quarter-final.
The win against Dortmund also marked Chelsea’s first back-to-back wins since October as they had defeated Leeds United on a 1-0 scoreline in the EPL before the UCL clash.
Emerging into the tunnel shortly after Potter, Chelsea billionaire owner made sure to catch up with the manager to offer his congratulations.
Letting out a big cry, both men shared a joyous embrace.
