“We will see” – Fabrizio Romano provides update on €81m star transfer to Chelsea
Chelsea are on the lookout for a new striker during the January transfer window, a window that is now just four days away from opening.
The injury to Armando Broja a few weeks back has forced Chelsea to now look even harder for a potential new number 9 to come in and replace him. Broja will be out for the rest of the season at least, so Chelsea need a contingency plan.
Many names have been linked with Chelsea as potential options, but no big decisions have seemingly been made yet.
One player who Chelsea have been linked with and could come into the frame as an option, is Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.
However, the issue there right now is that he is injured. But transfer expert Fabrizio Romano believes it might be something to watch later in the window, in his latest words for Give Me Sport.
Romano says: “Vlahovic, I think it’s not going to be easy at all because he’s injured at the moment, and I’m not sure Juventus will let him go but also it depends on the conditions.
“At the moment, Chelsea are not negotiating with Juventus for Vlahovic, so we will see later in the window with that.”
