Todd Boehly finally REVEAL why he will NOT SACK Graham Potter
“Why I will not sack him”— Todd Boehly explains why he won’t sack Potter and reveals Chelsea’s three major problems
Despite pressure from Chelsea supporters who have been critical of and called for Graham Potter to be fired, Chelsea Owner Todd Boehly has reiterated that he won’t fire Graham Potter. He also identified Chelsea’s three biggest weaknesses.
Striker
Since moving from Barcelona, Aubameyang has had mediocre performance, tallying three goals in ten appearances.
Given the busy schedule of the Blues and the fact that they are a worse team in his performance, he is unable to play in every game because he is 33 years old.
While Armando Broja seems to be out of favor with Potter, Havertz led the line against Brighton and frequently struggled despite scoring the equalizing goal. If the Englishman wants to keep his team competitive across the board, he must find a way to play without the Gabon skipper.
Wing-back
Another position Potter chose to play wingers Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic in at the Amex is wing-back, where Chelsea have severe concerns. It is safe to conclude that it did not succeed because the pair left the back three incredibly exposed, which added to the thrashing.
Getting balance in the front line
Chelsea’s front line lack of balance has been the last of their big problems, and finding a place for Sterling could help them resolve it. Since Potter has been there, Mason Mount has done well.
