Revealed: How much Graham Potter will earn as Chelsea boss
Chelsea announced the arrival of Graham Potter from Brighton yesterday as he takes the reigns of head coach from Thomas Tuchel.
Tuchel was sacked by Chelsea on Wednesday morning in a decision that shocked the fan base, many of whom are still trying to come to terms with what happened.
The football hadn’t been great, and form very poor, but nobody was expecting him to be sacked this soon.
Anyway, Potter now has the reigns and Blues fans will be firmly behind the new man at the helm. And it looks very much like he is here for the long-term, or at least that is the plan with the contract that he has signed.
According to The Telegraph, Potter has signed a five-year deal worth £12million a year, which is one of the longest in Chelsea’s history and means he will earn £60 million if he lasts the full term of his contract.
