“PotterOut” trending after just one match following Chelsea’s disappointing draw with RB Salzburg

“#PotterOut” is already trending on social media after Graham Potter’s first game in charge of Chelsea ended in a bitterly disappointing 1-1 draw against RB Salzburg.

After the Blues’ 1-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in their Champions League debut last week, Thomas Tuchel was fired.

Potter made three changes to Tuchel’s previous Chelsea starting eleven for his first game in charge at Stamford Bridge.

Raheem Sterling’s goal in the 48th minute gave the home team the lead after a scoreless first half.

With only 15 minutes remaining, the visitors tied the score thanks to an equalizer from Salzburg’s star Noah Okafor.

Potter substituted players like Conor Gallagher, Hakim Ziyech, and Christian Pulisic in the closing minutes to try and score the winning goal, but they were unable to get past Salzburg’s tenacious defense.
