OFFICIAL: Dates confirmed for Chelsea’s Champions League clash vs Borussia Dortmund

Raheem Sterling “ends drought”; Graham Potter announces two bad news after the match

If you missed it, Chelsea were drawn against German side Borussia Dortmund in the next round of the Champions League this morning.

The Blues turned around their fortunes in the group stages to qualify for the round of 16, and now they will need to see off Dortmund if they want to progress any further.

There are no slouches in this stage of the competition, and Dortmund will certainly be a very tough tie. But both sides will have some belief that they can go through and knock the other out.

There is quite a bit of time to wait until the game though, and a lot can change in between then and now, with a January transfer window being perhaps the biggest source of big changes for both clubs.

The official dates have been confirmed now, with Chelsea probably getting the more favourable draw of playing at home in the second leg!
