OFFICIAL: Chelsea complete signing of 300-goal world-class striker

Chelsea have completed the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona, it has been confirmed. 

Just hours before the transfer window shut close on Thursday evening, Chelsea finalized the acquisition of Aubameyang.

The Blues signed the 33-year-old after letting Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner leave the club on loan and permanent transfer respectively.

It was reported that Chelsea will paid a transfer fee in the region of £12m to bring former Arsenal striker back to the Premier League.

He’s old – but hopefully gold as well.


Aubameyang said: “I’m really happy. It’s an honour to be part of this team and I can’t wait to start. I have some unfinished business with the Premier League so it’s good to be back and really exciting.”

What Todd Boehly said of the deal: “Pierre-Emerick is an elite striker with a proven track record in the Premier League and his arrival strengthens our squad, giving us new attacking options.
