“No problems injury wise” – 3 Chelsea players to miss Brentford game

Chelsea will be without three players when they face Brentford in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

This was made known by Graham Potter during his press conference on Tuesday. Chelsea will be without N’Golo Kante, Wesley Fofana and Reece James, but apart from the three, there are no other issues.

Potter was also asked if Thiago Silva will be part of the squad to face the Bees or he would be rested ahead of weekend’s game against Manchester United because Chelsea had two games in as many days, he said:

“We need to make sure the recuperation is appropriate for him within 24 or 48 hours. Since he’s 38, I have to include him in the discussions. He is a guy, and he is more aware of himself than I am.

“He is a very crucial player and member of our team. He needs to be included in the process so that we can manage him properly.”
