No longer useful – Chelsea set to lose £290k-a-week star as a free agent
Fabrizio Romano has provided an a huge update on the future of N’Golo Kante with Chelsea.
The Frenchman has proven to worth every penny since his £40 million switch from Leicester City in 2016, helping the Blues to win every trophy available except for the Carabao Cup cup.
However, according to latest report from Fabrizio Romano, there is a huge chance that the 31-year-old could leave as a free agent next summer.

Kante in recent times has struggled for fitness, missing most of the Blues’ games, making just two appearances this season so far.
The France international has less than a year less on his contract at Stamford Bridge and no agreement is yet to reached over an extension. It is believed he would to end his career at the west London club.
Kante has some admirers for his service, with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Inter Milan and Juventus believed to be interested. It remains to be seen if the Blues can agree to a new contract or will allow him to leave for free with the latter looking like a higher possibility.
