Injury boost for Chelsea as key players return to training ahead of Tottenham clash
Chelsea have received four huge fitness boosts for their Premier League fixture against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon.
Graham Potter’s side need a win, especially against their fierce London rivals, after a run of just two wins in their last 17 in all competitions which has seen Chelsea last win away from home back in October.
Injuries have played some part in Chelsea struggles this season but Potter is starting to welcome back many of the injured stars. N’Golo Kante was spotted in training in the warm-up session on Tuesday, and his return is hoped next month when they face Leeds United, Borussia Dortmund, Leicester City and Everton.
Reece James, Thiago Silva, Raheem Sterling and Mykhailo Mudryk have also been given the all-clear to return to the starting XI against Tottenham, after Graham Potter was told they would risk injury by starting against Southampton.
