I want to leave ASAP – Chelsea striker request for transfer away from Stamford Bridge

Romelu Lukaku wants to join Inter Milan permanently

Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku is reportedly keen on securing a permanent deal away from Stamford Bridge following his loan move to Inter Milan in the summer.

Chelsea re-signed the 29-year-old in a club-record deal from Inter Milan, but the Belgian international did not make an significant impact on his return to the Premier League. He also fell out with the club when he had an unauthorized interview last December.

However, according to Italian news outlet, Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea are open to selling Lukaku and with the January transfer window set to open in the next coming weeks, the Blues are looking to sign a new striker following the report that Armando Broja could be sidelined for rest of the season after picking up an ACL injury against Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon.

Chelsea star Romelu Lukaku Is now keen on turning his loan transfer away from Stamford Bridge into a permanent switch to Italian side Inter Milan, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

The report suggests that with Lukaku’s services no longer needed at Stamford Bridge, Inter are looking to negotiate another loan agreement, which could extend the striker’s stay at the Serie A beyond the end of the season.

According to transfer insider Dean Jones, the Belgian star is keen for Chelsea and Inter to negotiate a permanent transfer instead.

Jones told GIVEMESPORT: “He really enjoys his life in Italy. He sees the league as almost perfect for him, particularly at this stage of his career.

“If this can work out in a way that means he does end up staying in Serie A, then he would probably be very open to it.”
