Graham Potter makes sensational statement over former Chelsea star Eden Hazard
Chelsea new head coach Graham Potter has drop hints over the potential of former Chelsea player Eden Hazard.
Eden Hazard has been tipped by the new Chelsea manager, Graham Potter to continue working hard and see a new weather come his way.
The Belgian went from being a Chelsea talisman to a Real Madrid outcast, making just 51 league appearances for Los Blancos since joining back in 2019.
His mega money move only set more eyes on his path and more expectations on his output which he failed to live up due to series of injuries.
It’s no doubt that Eden is a great player but with the injuries steadily heading his way, then it’s sad to say he may have come to the end of his majestic days.
The 31-year-old has been linked in the past to a move back to Chelsea but this hasn’t been the case for neither Hazard nor Chelsea.
In a recent interview, Chelsea new manager who was quizzed on the player, ignored to make any statement about a possible return
However, but instead dished words of advise to the former Premier League best player.
“Hazard is a generational talent just like Messi and Ronaldo, his influence in the Premier League won’t be forgotten so soon,” Potter said to BBC.
It’s sad that he is struck with a weird injury that has refused to let him enjoy his football but if he keeps working hard, am sure he can beat the challenges coming his way.
Potter has only managed one game as Chelsea manager, which ended in a draw but with the hopes placed in him by the Board, the former Brighton manager will be keen to start impressing sooner than expected.
