Graham Potter gives triple injury update as two Chelsea players set to miss Wolves clash
Graham Potter took his press conference ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League game against Wolves on Saturday, and as always the most interesting part was the injury update to start.
It was good news all round, basically.
Potter explained that Wesley Fofana’s knee injury was not as bad as feared. The defender will be out for weeks, not months.
Meanwhile N’Golo Kante will miss tomorrow’s game, but his integration with the group is going “well.” We’re convinced we see him next week.
Finally there’s Marc Cucurella, who has been out with an illness. He was on the bench against AC Milan on Wednesday night, and his manager said he’s full recovered and “will feature” tomorrow.
We think he could even start, given Ben Chilwell has played two matches in a week now.
Overall, it’s uplifting news to back up two wins in 7 days. Let’s hope we can keep it going tomorrow night.
