‘Give it to him’ – Reactions as Chelsea fans for former Blues star to save the club after Tuchel’s sacking

Premier League giants Chelsea have announced the dismissal of Head coach Thomas Tuchel on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.

Tuchel was relieved of his duties after Chelsea suffered a 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb in their Champions League opener.

Chelsea fans have expressed frustration with the start to the season after huge spending by new owner Todd Boehly.

Tuchel is now the second Premier League manager to be dismissed after Bournemouth let go of Scott Parker.

The news of Tuchel’s dismissal rose to the top of the trends on social media.

Chelsea fans want John Terry to replace Tuchel
Tuchel won the Champions League, the Super Cup, and Club World Cup during his time at Chelsea.

He joins Chelsea’s great managers such as Jose Mourinho, Guus Hiddink, and Carlo Ancelotti.

Chelsea fans took to social media to give their thoughts on the shocking dismissal of Tuchel.

There were mixed reactions, however, most fans believe he should have been given more time this early in the season.

The fans then went on to give their preferred candidate for the vacant position.

Chelsea has been linked with Mauricio Pochettino and Hansi Flick but fans are of the opinion that the job should go to a former player of the club.

According to the reactions on social media, the fans want former captain John Terry who is already staffed at the club.

The Chelsea fans believe that Terry embraces the values of the club and will be a perfect short-term replacement.
