Get me this striker – Graham Potter told Chelsea to sign €50M-rated Man United transfer target
Graham Potter has reportedly asked Chelsea owner Todd Boehly to get him a new striker in the upcoming transfer windows.
According to reports from Spanish news outlets, Fichajes.net, the English tactician wants Chelsea to make RB Salzburg striker Benjamin Sesko a signing.
The report further stated that Potter specifically “asked” for the 19-year-old who may ultimately rank among the “best in the world” in his position.
The Slovenia international has recently agreed to join RB Leipzig next summer so any transfer talks for the player would have to involve the Bundesliga side.
Chelsea have an excellent relationship with Leipzig so reaching an agreement between both clubs shouldn’t be a problem.
The report further claimed that the Blues will have to pay at least £43m to convince Leipzig into selling the Sesko without making an appearance for them. It would double the amount they pay for the player.
However, Chelsea will have to move fast if they are to land his service as it is said that other clubs in the mix for the Slovenian international’s signature including Manchester United.
