Every confirmed Chelsea 2022/23 summer transfer in and out following Ross Barkley departure

Chelsea have a huge summer ahead with Thomas Tuchel looking to rebuild his squad and had a huge summer this transfer window.

It comes after a campaign of difficulty at Stamford Bridge, where problems both on and off the field were brought to the fore.

The Blues limped their way to third, but missed out on adding both domestic cups to their trophy cabinet with two losses on penalties to Liverpool in separate finals. Off the pitch, ownership concerns swept the club for months untilfinally completed the purchase.

Tuchel has admitted he needs to “rebuild” his squad this summer, following a difficult season and the loss of some key players: “We are rebuilding, not improving the squad. We are rebuilding. This is always challenging but we are up for the challenge.”

With the German coach believed to have around £200million available to spend from the new owner and the Blues could easily now over that figure by some distance if they are to sign the players they want. Chelsea confirmed the signings of Raheem Sterling from Manchester City and long-term club target Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli while on pre-season then quickly completed the signings of Gabriel Slonina, Carney Chukwuemeka and Marc Cucurella.
