‘Don’t sell him’, He has got a big future for Chelsea’ – Former Chelsea player warns Potter to keep next superstar at Chelsea
Chelsea trounced Wolves 3-0 on a comfortable Saturday at Stamford Bridge.
At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea won 3-0 thanks to goals from Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic, and Armando Broja.
Former Chelsea winger Pat Nevin was ecstatic following the win and had nothing but admiration for Broja, who entered the game and scored.
Nevin believes that Broja is a player who shouldn’t be written off because he still has a bright career in front of him.
Pat Nevin said on BBC Radio 5 Live: “That is an important goal for him, these Chelsea fans love Armando Broja because he comes on and puts in so much effort. He is selfless but is also a target man.
“A lot of people have been talking about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but do not write off Broja. I think he has got a big future.”
Graham Potter was asked to assess Broja’s contribution after the game.
He said: “I’ve been here three or four weeks so taking no credit, great finish nice pass too and whenever he comes on he works hard for the team.
“He’s had to be patient but he’s bene working hard in training and it’s nice for him to score.”
