Done deal as Chelsea reportedly reach agreement to sign £60m-rated star

"For the first 15 or 20 minutes" – Jorginho finally reveals who to blame for Chelsea 3-0 defeat

According to rumors, Chelsea is preparing a number of possible Jorginho replacements in case the player decides to sign with Barcelona.

Although there has been talk regarding the midfielder’s long-term future at the club, he has been with the team for a number of seasons and has become one of the finest at what he does.

Jorginho, who has been instrumental for Chelsea since joining from Napoli in the summer of 2018, is rumored to have been chosen by Barcelona to replace Sergio Busquets in the center of the park.

Although he later came clean and said the midfielder wants to stay at Chelsea, the player’s agent, Joao Santos, recently traveled to Spain for talks with the Catalan giants and has already reached an agreement in principle.

And if the Daily Express reports are to be believed, one player they might try to sign is Frenkie De Jong.

De Jong was frequently linked to leaving the club throughout the summer transfer season, with rumors suggesting Barcelona was eager to get rid of him.

The Dutchman is highly regarded throughout Europe, but he hasn’t had the impact at the club that many had hoped for, and with the Spaniards in serious financial problems, they were hoping to off-balance the books by paying him £200,000 a week.

De Jong was determined to remain at the Camp Nou and contend for his position in the side despite all the rumors that they wanted him to leave, which appeared to put an end to any conjecture.

According to recent rumors, the Camp Nou club still needs to sell the Chelsea target in order to make investments in other players. As a result, Barcelona may be open to a trade once the January transfer market opens up in a few months.
