Decision made as Graham Potter wants £130k-a-week star at Chelsea in January
As usual, Chelsea has sent a number of its best players out on loan so they can play this year.
These choices have been crucial for both the players’ development and for them to just be playing. The transfer of Callum Hudson-Odoi to Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen has already showed promising results.
He is already receiving some favorable minutes and seems trustworthy there. He needed to play consistently since Thomas Tuchel wasn’t really giving him that.
However, as we know, Chelsea now have a new manager in Graham Potter, and every player has been given a fresh clean slate to impress, including Hudson-Odoi.
The deal leaves open the possibility of a January return. #Bayer04
