“Contact made” – Chelsea set to beat Man United to £109m signing
According to reports, Chelsea are one of the the clubs monitoring the situation of Joao Felix at Atletico Madrid.
The 23-year-old has struggled to make a significant impact since making his £109.7 million move from Benfica in the summer of 2019, and his relationship with Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone is believed to have broken down.
Chelsea will try to sign Felix in the coming months after the Marca reported that the Portuguese star has requested for a transfer away from Atletico.

The report further claimed that Chelsea may have take closer to sealing a deal for the former Benfica man after contacting his agent regarding a switch to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea will have to move quick of they are land his signature, with Manchester United also said to be interested in his services.
The player has a contract with Atletico until the summer of 2026 so he won’t come up as the La Liga side are still hoping to recoup at least €60m (£51.8m) for the attacker.
