Chelsea to return improved bid for £50m PL star
Chelsea are preparing a second bid for Ecuador World Cup star and Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo, according to Daily Mail via Tribal Football.
Chelsea had a first bid of £55million for Caicedo rejected by Brighton and are now considering following that up with an improved bid for the midfield star.
Chelsea boss Graham Potter is hoping to strengthen Chelsea’s central midfield and the Blues identified Caicedo as an ideal signing after a failed bid for Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez.
Potter worked with Caicedo during his time as Brighton boss and is reportedly keen on reuniting with midfielder at Stamford Bridge.
Caicedo is also reportedly keen on a move to Chelsea and is reportedly hoping both clubs can reach an agreement on his transfer.
