Chelsea set to sign €30m-rated Bayer defender
Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen defender, Piero Hincapie.
According to Dharmesh Sheth of Sky Sports News, the Blues have submitted a bid worth over Hincapie ahead of the January market.
The report claimed that the 20-year-old emerged as a transfer target for Chelsea being frustrated by RB Leipzig’s €100m valuation for Josko Gvardiol.
Hincapie was part of Ecuador’s World Cup campaign. He has contract with Bayer until 2026.
