Chelsea looking to sign ‘a penalty box specialist’ in January
January has begun and that means one thing to football fans, the return of another transfer window and a chance for their club to make some signings.
Chelsea have already had a lame start to 2023, only managing a draw with Nottingham Forest on New Years Day.
But we already knew that Chelsea were going to be pretty busy this month, and maybe off the back of yet another poor performance yesterday, this will only intensify even more.
Since the injury to Armando Broja a couple of weeks ago, it’s become clear that it’s likely Chelsea will look into the striker market.
They have been linked with Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix lately, and he could become an option. But also, according to The Athletic, Chelsea are looking for more a ‘penalty box specialist’ in January.
There aren’t too many of these kind of options available right now and they might need to search far and wide to find a decent option.
