Chelsea joins Man Utd and Bayer Leverkusen in the race to sign highly rated Ecuador star
English Premier League giants Chelsea oshave joined the race to sign highly rated Ecuador youngster Kendry Paez from Independiente del Valle.
The youngster has been linked with a lot of clubs in Europe’s top five leagues, following his outstanding performance for his team and his brilliant display has made Chelsea to join the race.
Kendry Paez was linked with a move to Manchester United, Juventus and Bayer Leverkusen in the summer transfer window, but he was not released by his club.
Chelsea have been signing a lot of players since the last summer transfer window, and they were able to sign more players in the January transfer window and they have also been linked with highly rated Kendry.
The 15-year-old has made many appearances for Independiente del Valle football club youth team this season, and he has scored many goals for them, and he has also been named in the senior team squad in several occasions.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Bayer Leverkusen are now expected to approach Independiente del Valle for the youngster when the summer transfer window opens in June.
Skysports and respected Italian Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano reported via his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday evening that;
“Chelsea are in the race with Man Utd and Bayer Leverkusen to sign Kendry Paez, 2007-born Ecuadorian talent. Independiente del Valle’s midfielder, Kendry Paez is highly rated decision to be made soon.”
