Chelsea interested in Rafael Leao, AC Milan states their price
Chelsea are in contact with AC Milan over a potential transfer for Rafael Leao, according to reports.
The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League with Chelsea over the past summer. A deal failed to materialize, but the Blues are still keen on signing the Portuguese star and are in contact with Milan.
This is according to journalist Carlo Garganese who made this claims while speaking with GiveMeSport.
Speaking about Leao, Garganese said:
“Leão’s contract runs out in 2024. Chelsea, they’re still in touch, they’re one of the main clubs, but they’re not the only club that are interested in him.”
“Real Madrid are also interested in him as well.”

Garganese says Chelsea remain in contact with the Serie A and will try to sign Rafael Leao but they will have to move quick for the player who is also believed to be a transfer target for Real Madrid.
According to reports from Italy (via Sportwitness), despite having only 18 months left on his contract at San Siro, AC Milan will not sell the 23-year-old for anything less than £87 million.
Milan has so far failed to reach an agreement with Leao over a new contract with Sky Italia reporting that he is demanding £170,000-a-week in wages; something that Milan are unwilling to match.
