The west London club are believed to be in talks with Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang over a possible move to Stamford Bridge before the transfer window closes.

However, they are having issues reaching personal terms with the Gabon international as Chelsea are offering a one-deal while the former Arsenal striker is demanding for a deal that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2024.

While Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is pushing for the transfer to be completed before next week’s deadline day, the German boss has also identified another target as a possible backup if they are unable to land Aubameyang.

The Guardian reported that Chelsea are in contact with Zaha’s representatives over a possible move to Stamford Bridge.

The 29-year-old has less than a year left on his current contract at Selhert Park, and he could be available for a price.

The Ivory Coast international, who re-joined Palace from Manchester United in 2015, has scored three goals in three games for Patrick Vieira’s side this season.

But, he was left out of the squad for Saturday’s clash with Manchester City due to a leg injury.
