Chelsea in talks to sign €70m-rated Brazilian forward

After declining a loan move during the summer, Chelsea are ready to reignite interest in PSG forward Neymar , who could be allowed to leave to ease tensions with Kylian Mbappe. A loan move would be preferred but Chelsea would move for a permanent deal if the price was right. (El Pais)

Chelsea were reportedly interested in siginging Neymar in the summer, but they decided against a move for the Brazilian forward because of his fitness issues.

However, according to reports from French publication El Pais, the 30-year-old is now back on the Blues’ radar, with Neymar previously believed to be open to a move to the London club.

Todd Boehly is reportedly ready to go out all for the PSG winger who is currently in a top form for the Les Parisiens, having 12 goals and nine assists to his name 16 appearances this season so far.

The report claimed that PSG considered Neymar as an expendable asset and they are open to selling him at the end of the season. The only problem that can stop a move from happening his wages of nearly €40 million per season, but the Parisians are prepared to contributing to most of his wages just to get him off their books.

If the reports were to be believed, Chelsea fans would be excited to see Neymar at Stamford Bridge next season. Despite the fact that he is 30 years old, the Brazilian attacker would bring more quality to the Blues’ attacking unit.

The former Barcelona star has proved himself to be a world-class player in Spain and France, and he will no doubt do the same in the Premier League.

In other news, Chelsea are considering making a move for Yeremy Pino of Villarreal should Mason Mount decided not to sign new long-term deal with the Blues.
