Chelsea fans are going to love what Graham Potter said about £80m Chelsea transfer target

Usually managers refuse to talk about players at other clubs, but Graham Potter has just taken his Champions League press conference where he was happily chatting away about one player his team are reportedly targetting.

Rafael Leao was regularly linked with us this summer, and he will be in action for AC Milan tomorrow night against us in the Champions League.

Potter said he was “really impressed” with the Portugal attacker, and said he’s a “top player.”

Graham Potter on Rafael Leão: “I’ve been really impressed with Rafa Leão whenever I’ve watched Milan games, he’s a top player”.

“In terms of what happens in the future, who knows whether he can do this in Premier League or not.

He’s got the capability, for sure”.

He will currently be working on ways to stop him, so if the Blues decide to sign Leao this winter, Potter will have already built up a good understanding of his game.

The former Brighton coach wasn’t ready to say much on the transfer front, only that Leao had “the capability” to play like this in the Premier League too.

If he causes major damage against us tomorrow night, it surely makes a bid even more likely.
