Chelsea determined to sign €35m-rated prolific French forward

Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin has garnered attention from some of the top clubs in England, with Tottenham and Chelsea launching tentative inquiries lately. Although the Blues have managed to bring in Man City forward Raheem Sterling.

The two PL clubs are exploring the possibility of signing the 25-year-old forward ahead of the new campaign as they look to shore up their front-line. The Magpies, though, are in no mood of parting ways with their prized forward and value him at nearly £40m to ward off Chelsea and Tottenham.

Formerly of Monaco, Allan has been the beating heart of the Magpies attack since joining Newcastle in 2019. During his ongoing three-year spell at Newcastle United, Saint-Maximin has racked up almost 100 competitive games for the Magpies, scoring 12 goals while providing 16 assists.

In addition to his productivity, the French forward has offered dynamism and trickery in the final third. The Frenchman has even established himself as one of the finest dribblers in Europe, with a host of teams now seeking his services ahead of the new campaign.

The Blues are among the teams keeping close tabs on Allan as they look to add more attacking reinforcements amid the uncertainty over the future of some of their existing stars. Ziyech was linked with a move to Milan earlier in the month, while Pulisic has failed to impress at Chelsea.
