As £77 million star wants to transfer to Stamford Bridge, a Bayern Munich star opens the door for a Chelsea move

Amidst interest from teams like Chelsea, Bayern Munich star Benjamin Pavard has suggested he would be interested in moving.

In spite of interest from Manchester United, Chelsea FC, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid, and Juventus in the summer transfer window, Pavard was almost convinced to stay at Bayern. Pavard has, however, developed into one of the best defenders in the Bundesliga with Bayern.

Having admitted that he is considering leaving Bayern with only one year remaining on his current deal, the player has now informed all of those teams.

Pavard told Telefoot: “I questioned myself after receiving calls from various clubs together with my agency. I then spoke with the Bayern coach—a person with whom we have an excellent rapport—after the game.

“He made it clear to me that I was vital to his plans and the team as a whole. You never know what the future holds, so maybe I’ll visit one of these clubs one day.

I have one more year left at Bayern Munich. We can then project ourselves afterward.

Owner Todd Boehly is prepared to make another attempt to sign Gvardiol as he searches for the best young players in football, and new Chelsea manager Graham Potter is rumored to be a fan.

The Croatian international has now made it possible for him to move to Stamford Bridge as soon as January.
