After Tuchel’s sacking, Chelsea star finally reveals why he’s happy to play under Graham Potter
After receiving little playing time under Thomas Tuchel, Christian Pulisic looked to leave Chelsea.
However, the American was unable to leave during the summer.
Pulisic has played this season, but not as much as he would like because he has mostly come off the bench.
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old American has said he’s happy to play under new boss Graham Potter.
Speaking about his future at Chelsea to ESPN after the USMNT’s 0-0 draw with Saudi Arabia, Pulisic sounded more optimistic.
“I’m feeling good going back, honestly,” the American said. “I have a fresh start now, and I’m excited to play for the new manager.
“So really just looking forward to it. I just have to prove myself, as everyone does, and as I’ve done before.”
It’s yet to be seen if Pulisic would get that regular play time under Graham Potter.
