£150k-a-week star will make transfer move after Chelsea decision
Hakim Ziyech will be moved on by Chelsea as they raise funds to sign a new number nine, it has been claimed.
Ziyech is one of the players at Stamford Bridge that the club wanted to get rid of before the January transfer window closed – especially as he has failed to live upto the expectations on his shoulders.
It was PSG who appeared to have won the race to sign the mercurial winger before he saw his Stamford Bridge escape route blocked at the very last minute of the transfer window.
Graham Potter then come out and revealed that the talented winger does have a role to play at the club – He said: ‘He’s back in the country, he trained this morning. It won’t be the first story like this or the last. He’s a professional player, he understands the situation. He’s committed to us and available for the game against Fulham.
‘He has an important role to play for us for the rest of the season.’
However – that has not really been the case over the past few weeks and now the decision has been made to let him leave the club at the end of the current season.
Chelsea know that they need money to sign a world class striker and will need to get a few players off the squad list in order to sign that Harry Kane, Ivan Toney of Victor Osimhen
