In a joint statement shared today, NBA superstar Stephen Curry and entrepreneur and author Ayesha Curry announced that they have decided to separate after 13 years of marriage.

“After much reflection and prayer, we’ve made the difficult decision to part ways as husband and wife,” the statement reads. “This has not been an easy journey, and it’s one we’ve walked with deep respect and love for one another.”

The couple emphasized their continued commitment to co-parenting their three children and supporting each other in their personal and professional lives.
