New rumours link Premier League club to Chelsea’s £30m striker

With the new season just days away and the transfer window closing in two weeks, Chelsea is ramping up efforts to finalize their squad. After returning from their USA tour, the club is now focused on trimming down the roster.

Despite the ongoing search for a striker, Armando Broja remains on the market, and the latest club to show interest is Ipswich Town. While most rumors have involved clubs from Italy or Germany, the Premier League now seems to be in the mix for the young forward. However, given Chelsea’s €30m asking price, it’s believed that any deal would likely start as a loan arrangement.

Chelsea’s preference is to sell Broja outright, but if no more attractive offers emerge, a loan move could make sense, especially if Ipswich offers a solid wage contribution and potentially includes a compulsory buy clause if they secure Premier League survival.

Broja has yet to fully live up to the potential he showed during successful loan spells at Vitesse and Southampton. Though his performances were promising, injuries and limited playing time have hindered his development. A move to Ipswich could offer him regular first-team football and the chance to work with an exciting young manager.

At just 22 years old, Broja’s career still has many chapters to be written. Wherever he ends up, Chelsea fans will be hoping he can finally reach his potential and thrive in the next stage of his journey.
