Brandon Garrison to Return to Kentucky Wildcats for Junior Season

Brandon Garrison has announced he will return to the University of Kentucky for the 2025–26 basketball season, bringing positive news to Wildcats fans. The 6’10” forward, who transferred from Oklahoma State, made significant strides during his sophomore year at Kentucky, averaging 5.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, and showing steady improvement in his offensive game.

This past season, Garrison began expanding his range, attempting 40 three-pointers and making 12 after not attempting any during his freshman year. He also had several strong performances, including a near double-double against Gonzaga and a solid outing in a win over Oklahoma.

Despite uncertainty surrounding his return—especially with new frontcourt talent coming in via the transfer portal—Garrison has committed to another season in blue and white. His return strengthens Kentucky’s depth and positions him as a key contributor under Coach Mark Pope.

Garrison’s choice reflects his belief in the team’s direction and his evolving role within the lineup. As Kentucky prepares for the upcoming season, all eyes will be on Garrison’s continued growth and how it impacts the Wildcats’ pursuit of success.
